Who said the scotch and cider combination is for fall or winter? Certainly not us. This smokey and subtly sweet cocktail is perfect for summer evenings. The cider light- ens the intensity of the scotch a bit and the addition of bitters adds some depth. A subtle whiff of the grapefruit peel with each sip is a nice addition.
Ingredients (for 2):
3.4 oz. Highland Park Magnus Single Malt Scotch
5 oz. Strongbow Apple Cider
A few dashes of orange bitters
Optional grapefruit peel garnish
Add scotch to each cup. Add bitters and swirl cup. Add 2.5 ounces of hard apple cider to each cup and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
