The Ultimate Mother's Day Drink Guide
On Sunday, May 14th mothers across the country will be honored and celebrated. There's no better way to thank mom than with a delicious hand crafted cocktail. We scoured hundreds of recipes and spoke with dozens of bartenders all across US to come up with a list of our favorites.
3.0 oz. vodka
2.0 oz. Pinkhouse Alchemy lavender syrup
2.0 oz. lemon juice
top with club soda
Fill a shaker with ice. Add vodka, lavender syrup and lemon juice. Seal the shaker, then shake vigorously for ten seconds. Strain into an ice-filled collins glass and top with soda water (add more if you prefer a lighter cocktail, less if you prefer a more spirit-forward cocktail). Top with a few dashes of biers, garnish with lemon twist and enjoy!

Queen Bee Cocktail
Perfect for the queen bee in your life. Created by One Eared Stag's Beverage Director, Mikey Kilbourne. The Queen Bee cocktail is a bourbon cocktail mixed with thyme + honey syrup and lemon.
1.50 oz. bourbon
0.75 oz. Amontillado sherry
0.75 oz. thyme-honey syrup
0.25 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
Simple syrup (1:1) to taste
Combine the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until chilled. Strain into a glass over crushed ice. Garnish.
1 cup hot water
1 cup honey
5 sprigs of thyme
Steep the thyme in hot water for 15 minutes. Stir in the honey. Strain the thyme out of mixture, then store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
La Vie En Rose
The perfect pink cocktail to celebrate mom on her special day! Crafted by The Nolen bartender, Valerie Bancroft.
1.50 oz. vodka
0.25 oz. peach liqueur .
0.50 oz. lemon juice
0.25 oz. Giffard Black Rose
0.25 oz. grenadine
4 dashes Peychauds Bitters
Combine all ingredients into tin, add ice and shake. Strain into coupe glass and garnish with a rose petal.
