Hocus Pocus Cocktail
What’s more Halloween than a color changing cocktail? This drink takes inspiration from a Pisco Sour, with the Encanto and citrus flavors. Bartender Cody Blaylock at Bacchus Bar in Portland nixed the egg white to keep the potion clear.
2.0 oz Encanto pisco
0.5 oz Solerno blood orange liqueur
1.0 oz citric acid solution
0.75 butterfly pea simple syrup
Shake first three ingredients and double strain a mini decanter; add pea syrup to martini glass separately with a cherry, and pour clear solution over to make the magic.
Directions for the solution: dissolve 15 grams of citrus acid into 165 grams of water
