Negroni Bird Cocktail Recipe

Joe Swiftka, bar manager at Salt's Cure in Hollywood, debuted the Negroni Bird for Negroni Week. It's a play on a Jungle Bird and a Negroni, bringing a little tiki to the classic cocktail. The Jungle Bird was believed to have been invented at the Kuala Lumpur Hilton in 1978 and also contains Campari, so linking it the classic Negroni of gin, campari, and vermouth, was a no-brainer. Hope you enjoy this refreshing drink!

Ingredients:
0.5 oz lime juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
1.0 oz pineapple juice
1.0 oz Campari
1.0 oz Punt Y Mes Vermouth
0.5 oz Hamilton Demerara Rum
0.5 oz Citadelle Gin

Directions:
In a shaker filled with ice, combine the ingredients. Shake well. Serve over ice in a Mai Tai glass.  Garnish with two pineapple leaves and a half-moon slice of orange.
