Jasmine Blossoms Cocktail Recipe
Inspired by the cocktail renaissance that occurred during American Prohibition and the glamorous yet subversive nightlife that accompanied it, Manhattan Moonshine is the world's first luxury barely-aged Whiskey and has been developed to be the perfect Whiskey for cocktails.
Jasmine Blossoms was originally developed by Jessica Torres at OneMartini.com. William Kehler has adapted it for his barely-aged whiskey.
1 small apricot, pit removed
1.50 oz. jasmine tea infused Manhattan Moonshine
0.50 oz. Salers Aperitif La Bounoux Gentiane Liqueur
0.50 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
0.25 oz. simple syrup
1 dash orange bitters
Mint leaf for garnish
To make the jasmine tea infused whiskey, put 1 tea bag in 3 ounces of Manhattan Moonshine and let sit for at least 2 hours. Remove the tea bag.
Place apricot in a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add remaining ingredients except for garnish and fill shaker with ice. Shake and double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with the mint leaf.
