Altos Romero Cocktail Recipe

In Scottsdale, Arizona, a state rich in Cinco de Mayo celebrations and history, Chef Binkley of Bink’s Kitchen + Bar, created the “Altos Romero”.

There are only so many margaritas one can drink, so he decided to come up with something a bit more upscale and outside of the box.

This drink is an amazing blend of Altos Reposado tequila, apple liqueur, Aperol, lemon, orange, and a touch of rosemary-orange shrub. This cocktail is vibrant, refreshing and full of fresh citrus flavors with a nice kick for Cinco de Mayo!

Ingredients:

1.50 oz. Altos Reposado Tequila
0.50 oz. Aperol
0.50 oz. Schönauer Apfel
0.75 oz. Orange Rosemary Shrub
0.50 oz. Simple Syrup
0.25 oz. Lemon Juice
0.25 oz. Orange Juice

Directions:

Build ingredients in shaker filled with ice. Shake and pour over ice in a double rocks glass. Garnish with a sprig of Rosemary.
