The ManhattanSchewitz Cocktail Recipe

The ManhattanSchewitz Cocktail Recipe

Are you ready for Passover? Timna, the modern Israeli restaurant in the East Village in New York City will celebrate with a special cocktail showcasing Manishewitz, the sweet kosher wine that is a staple of the Seder table.

Beverage Director/Partner Amir Nathan has created the ManhattanSchewitz, a take on the classic Manhattan with the Concord grape Manishewitz stepping in for whiskey - its juicy flavor balanced out by Cardamaro Vino Amaro, Dolin Dry Vermouth and Angostura Bitters. The cocktail is served up in a coupe glass.

Ingredients:
0.75 oz. Manischewitz
0.75 oz. Cardamaro Vino Amaro
1.00 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Directions:
In a shaker filled with ice, combine the ingredients and shake well for 10 seconds. Pour into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with an orange peel.
