Delicious Fall Cocktails
We bring you a number of delicious fall cocktails in this roundup.
Our first cocktail comes from New York Yankees Steakhouse in Manhattan. It is "a smooth and balanced cocktail of spicy, nutty, sweet and crisp apple flavor. Whether you're a bourbon or non-bourbon lover, you can easily sip and savor the fall flavors in this glass,” according to Theresa Evans, Assistant GM & Beverage Director.
1.5 oz Bulleit bourbon
0.5 oz maple syrup
3 dashes of Fee Brother's Black Walnut bitters
1 lemon wedge, squeeze and drop
2.5 oz Stella Artois Cidre
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Our second cocktail comes courtesy of THE LCL. The Great Pumpkin blends together a powerful trio of spirits with everyone's favorite fall ingredient, pumpkin. This cocktail has a magnificent color, inviting aroma, and the perfectly sip-able texture. Notes of vanilla and cinnamon are present throughout, resulting in a comforting, yet complex cocktail.
The Great Pumpkin
0.75 oz. Buffalo Trace Bourbon
0.75 oz. Myers Rum
0.5 oz. Pierre Ferrand Cognac
0.75 oz. Cinnamon-Vanilla Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
1.00 oz. Pumpkin Puree
First do a dry shake. Add ice and shake again. Pour into a coupe. Grate nutmeg on top.
Our last cocktail comes from American Cut. “The added twists of using a freshly flamed maple plank and bitters made in house give this familiar cocktail a more nuanced flavor profile and a flair for the dramatic,” says Alexa Amendolagine, Food & Beverage Manager.
Plank Smoked Old Fashioned
0.75 tsp. house bitters
1 tsp. simple syrup
3 oz. Bulleit bourbon
Mix the bitters, simple syrup and bourbon in a glass and stir. Take a torch and burn a plank of maple wood for about 3 seconds. Place glass over the smoke for 5 seconds. Place one large ice cube in the glass and pour in the bitters, simple syrup and bourbon.
