Cocktails for Celebrating Day of the Dead
Celebrated between October 31st and November 2nd, Day of the Dead, or as it’s known in Spanish – Dia de los Muertos, is a Mexican holiday to celebrate and honor their deceased loved ones.
Celebrations include altars full of flowers, arts and crafts and beautifully painted skulls and skeletons. Often, the preferred foods and drinks of the lost loved ones are served. It is not a morbid or gloomy holiday like the name may suggest. It is truly a beautiful celebration of the spiritual bonds of life after death.
The most authentic way you can drink Montelobos Mezcal is neat. Sip it in between bites of green and red tomatoes to bring out the complexity of this unique spirit!
