The Bold Fashioned Cocktail
The base spirit is made with 100% upstate New York apples which are currently in season and the drink is also meant to be garnished with a fresh slice of apple. Local maple syrup and whiskey-barrel aged bitters add the autumn touch.
1 tsp (or to taste) real maple syrup
2 dashes Whiskey Barrel Aged Bitters
2 ounces Barking Irons Applejack
Give a little stir, a big chunk or two of ice, another little stir, then garnish with a slice of freshly-picked apple.
