Dolce Carolina Cocktail Recipe

Bartender Russ Johnson is the creator of the Dolce Carolina, which mixes flavors of sweet potato, passion fruit and cinnamon with whiskey and spiced rum for a uniquely fall cocktail.
1.25 oz. Rua Single Malt Whiskey
0.75 oz. Kraken Black Spiced Rum
1.00 oz. Sweet Potato Shrub
1.00 oz. Passion Fruit Juice
Dash Xocolatl Mole Bitters
Pour single malt, spiced rum, shrub, fruit juice, and bitters into shaker with ice. Shake. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and star anise.
