Garden District Cocktail Recipe
For Robert Strickler of Finn's Manor in Denver, Colorado, the premise behind the Garden District cocktail was to create a Scotch based cocktail which showcases fall flavors while enticing bourbon and Irish Whisky lovers to step into the wonderful world of Scotch whisky.
Usquaebach Reserve Blended Scotch Whisky offers elegant notes of winter spice, subtle citrus, vanilla, baked apples and quince, all of which collaborate in making a refined whisky to savor neat, on the rocks or in a crafty libation.
When creating the Garden District cocktail, Mr. Strickler went with three ingredients to keep it clean and simple and permit the Usquaebach to take center stage. St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur, an exquisite Pear Liqueur with robust flavors of Bartlett Pear, cinnamon and clove, work magic when united with Usquaebach.
Add a dash of Bittercube Cherry Bark Vanilla bitters and you have a fall feast of the senses that is unforgettable.
