The Colonist Cocktail Recipe
Fall season calls for pumpkin inspired drinks and Madison on Park in San Diego has added a pumpkin drink to their menu this season called The Colonist. The drink is a take on the old fashioned and you can enjoy it at the University Heights hotspot.
2.0 oz Bulleit Rye Bourbon
2-3 dashes pumpkin pecan apple sweet potato bitters
0.25 oz pecan wood smoked Vermont maple syrup
Combine the bitters and syrup in an old fashioned glass and cover the sides of the glass. Add a large ice cube and pour the bourbon.
